Study Materials

After years of hard work on Wearables, we are excited to share our first published manuscript! In this pilot study analysis, our NightSignal algorithm detected 17 of 21 postoperative events a median of 2 (IQR: 1-3) days prior to symptom onset, representing a sensitivity of 81%. We are incredibly grateful for the many cardiothoracic surgery patients who have devoted their time to working with us. They are the heart of this study.

Quality of Life Abstract Presented at the American Association of Thoracic Surgery (AATS) 2025 Conference

This abstract examined quality of life differences amongst our participants who underwent different forms of thoracic surgery. We used participant survey data to evaluate quality of life, and we look forward to publishing this as a full paper in the Fall of 2025. Research fellow Danny Wang, MD, presented this abstract.

Massachusetts General Hospital Celebration of Science Presentation 2024

This presentation summarized results from our pilot analysis (first paper on this page). Of over 250 entries, this presentation was one of ten winners in the presentation symposium. Clinical Research Coordinator Meghan McCarthy presented this poster.
